LMDE 6 and future updates to Cinnamon

Just asking for a friend ... will LMDE 6 see the benefit of any version updates to Cinnamon as and when they happen, or is it stuck now on 5.8.4 plus fixes until Debian Trixie? Thank you.

The LM team update LMDE with any improvements they add to the minor releases of LM Mainline. So when 21.3 is released around the end of the year, LMDE will receive those improvements too, including any Cinnamon update.
