I just installed Mint 8, and it won't boot...
When trying to boot normally it shows this message that keeps blinking in a loop and won't boot:
"Linux Mint 8 Helena - Main Edition <my_pc_name> tty1<my_pc_name> login:"
Then i started it in text mode, logged in, and typed: sudo startx
And got this error: "Fatal error: no screens found"
I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help me?

Solved.
Ran recovery mode and updated the packages.
The sysytem was then able to run in low graphics mode.
Updated the nVidia drivers, and problem gone.
