Partition problem

Post by rodrinet »

hi everybody
As i said in the subjet of this topic,i have a partition problem.
i have a laptop with a dual booting xp-mint 7 and yesterday the xp died, so i reinstall it.i know that if you install xp after mint, the grub "disappear", so i put the mint 7 livecd in order to reinstall it as it's said here in the wiki, but when i opened the gparted to see in which partition was mint7 the gparted show me that it wasnt any partition in the HD.However, i can mount the partitions and explore them.
Can i fix this problem without reinstalling all again?
PD:i'm from Uruguay so i apologise if there are some grammar mistakes
