When does Mint update python

As the title asks, when does mint release python updates for the system?

Python stays in the same 3.x version throughout each major LM version. Only patch updates are being applied.

p.s. Since Python can deprecate or even remove features in each 3.x upgrade, it is not safe for Linux Mint nor Ubuntu LTS team to auto-upgrade Python without extensive check and test.
