Problem on sceen resolution

Post by satimis »

Hi all,

Linux Mint 21.2 running as VM of VirtualBox

New installation

VirtualBox guest addition already installed

Display - Dell 4K 32 display

I couldn't change screen resolution to increase screen size. Otherwise only a dark screen will result.

I couldn't find xconfig on /etc/X11/

$ ls /etc/X11/

Code: Select all

app-defaults  default-display-manager  rgb.txt  xkb          Xreset    Xresources  Xsession.d        xsm         Xwrapper.config
cursors fonts xinit xorg.conf.d Xreset.d Xsession Xsession.options XvMCConfig
$ xrandr

Code: Select all

Reason: Moved from Other Topics to Virtual Machines because the problem is screen resolution in a VM (which uses VM graphics drivers).
