Only one comment in a month ?

I'll say, I appreciate your work.

While I actually prefer a rather plain background, like the first one on page two. I really like some of your design elements, and in particular #8 on page one.

The reflection you got on the "plastic bubble" is really cool / excellent. If you would be so kind could you explain how you did that ?

Hello, Rick. Thanks for the complimentary reply on my Gimp creations. The specific image you are referencing was created with a plugin called Transparent Glass or OMG Brummy. I followed a tutorial on the now defunct website named Gimp Learn and created this:

which was the template example used in the thread. Of course, it started out as just a regular image of a horse and then you would run the plugin. After successfully figuring out how to properly make the plugin function correctly, which was a task for many users in the thread to get correct, I simply ran the plugin on a Mint logo. :D

If you are interested, I have the plugin .py file and a set of simplified instructions which I could provide. There may be some information about it on Gimp Chat's website; I'm not sure if any of that information on this particular plugin was ever there or got transferred there before the other site went down. Maybe do a search on Gimp Chat for Transparent Glass or OMG Brummy.

There was a process to do it manually, without the plugin, but it was literally almost a scrolling webpage long and I didn't save those instructions before the website went down.
