Can i increase audio volume?

I often find, when im watching a you tube video ( or other audio), the volume is too soft, and yet i have the video volume up to maximum, and my laptop volume up to 100%.
Ive tried the pulse audio thingy, but it doesnt make any difference. Is there an app i could install?

LMDE6 uses Cinnamon, so here is the setting in Cinnamon to get to 150%

you can use the following set up

if the audio is to low please adjust Preamp

lastly for youtube you need to disable loudness normalization too for that i use this add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... ube-addon/
the said setting can be found on Improve youtube settings --> Player --> Disable = Loudness Normalization

I don't use EQ so I don't use it but I've seen it, a buddy uses it and likes it a lot. I'd try it.
