Hello,
is there a way to make Thunar preserving attributes when copying files and folders?
Background:
I'm using LM20.3 xfce and would like to use rdiff-backup. I tested with some testfiles and folders with different owner. rdiff-backup preserves the attributes but when I copy files back, Thunar set the owner to the active user.
When trying nemo it preserves the attributes by default.
I've looked into options from nemo and Thunar hoping to find a way, but I haven't found any hints.
Generally I think it would be nice if attributes are kept by default.
preserve attributes when copying with Thunar

Re: preserve attributes when copying with Thunar
'rsync -a . . .path-to-file . . .path-to-target-directory' will preserve attributes of file to be copied.
