Monitors not waking correctly on resume after gTile install

Post by CJRoss »

I installed gTile so that I could more easily arrange my windows and since then I've had two different instances where I've had an issue resuming. Upon resume, the monitors will wake and display the desktop wallpaper briefly before going back to sleep. After they go back to sleep, I can manually wake the monitors and they'll be fine.

One of the comments here mentioned gTile not working after sleep, but that's not what seems to be happening to me. https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/e ... ns/view/76
The issue of gTile not working after the monitor sleeps, and then disabling keys on the keyboard, isn't fixed. This is a great extension but sadly it just doesn't work correctly.
