[Solved] Linux Mint 21.3 - black screen after suspending

Post by Jarvis »

Hi guys,

I am struggling with a "black screen" issue, when my Laptop wakes up from suspend/sleep.

Previously I could fix it by adding

Code: Select all

exit 0

in

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/nvidia-sleep.sh
Release information:

Code: Select all

What changed in the time between when it previously worked and it now not working?

Have you tried using an older Nvidia driver instead of the latest 535?

Is there a particular reason you are using the 6.5 kernel? I would think your system would work well with the 5.15 LTS kernel because you do not have new hardware.

Thanks, for the reply. I switched back to Kernel 5.15 LTS - it seem to work.

If I encounter a new issue I will re-open the post.
