linux Mint XFCEx64 / virt-viewer / virt-manager <-> proxmox

Post by markus-1969 »

Hello,

I have installed on the IP 192.168.200 a virtual Machine runnung unter proxmox.

The login through a web browser is working as follows:
proxmox.jpg
proxmox.jpg (65.92 KiB) Viewed 117 times
How can I access to that machine ..

1) using virt-viewer

2) using virt-manager

What is each configuration required in the Alternative 1) and 2) ?

Thank you

Have a look here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/virt-viewer.131709/

Another option would be SPICE. Of course, it depends on how you configured your Proxmox VM. If you configured GPU passthrough the screen should switch to the VM, or you need to manually switch your screen to a different input - but that's ONLY relevant for GPU passthrough.
