One Wi-Fi connection not working? (before, it worked; also, works on Windows 10)

Post by Darkmaster006 »

Hello there! So I have a dual-boot with Windows 10 and Linux Mint. All connections were working fine until, lately, for unknown reason, one of my connections stopped working. It does work on any other device plus on Windows 10 in the same computer. What can I do to check why it's not working? Thank you.

Just in case some info is needed, here's the output of inxi -Fxxxrz ; rfkill list all ; iwconfig ; mokutil --sb-state, connected to the Wi-Fi that works:

Try this:
Update Manager - panel: View - Linux kernels
Install the latest kernel of the 5.15 series. Then reboot and test.

You need temporary internet by other means for this. You might use the tethering feature of your cell phone for that:

You should also turn power management off:

Code: Select all

sudo sed -i 's/3/2/' /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf
Reboot
