Unknown display stuck at 1920x1080 60HZ

I just built a new PC, im also sorta new to linux, but still heres my specs:
RTX 4060 TI (controversial i know)
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
32GB of RAM
If i need any more listed specs just ask, but my problem is whenever I boot, its at 1920x1080 60HZ, and i cant change it since it just says "unknown display"
Now, yes i have tried a few solutions, however none work and i may have a specific problem so please help.

Which of the solutions in the Tips for Troubleshooting Graphics Issues (including external monitors not working) which is a sticky at the top of the Graphics Cards & Monitors forum did you try?

Please open the System Reports app and click the System Information tab on the left. Your computer's information should come up in the right pane. Then click the Copy button in the lower right and paste the results into a reply window here so we can see how Linux Mint views your hardware.

I mainly just did some xrander (that did nothing) commands and some drivers (that bootlooped my pc)

For very new hardware such as your, we normally recommend installing with the Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon (Edge) Edition ISO which has the 6.5 kernel. So I recommend you upgrade to that kernel and run all the updates in Update Manager (your system has not yet had updates). By doing that, the onboard AMD GPU drivers will load automatically from the kernel.

No graphics drivers loaded means no resolution changes possible.

Open Update Manager and run all the updates listed. Then to upgrade to the 6.5 kernel:

• Open Update Manager.
• Select View > Linux Kernels and click Continue.
• Make sure 6.5 is selected on the left panel and then click the top-most option on the right panel. An "Install" button will appear.
• Install the kernel and then reboot for it to become active.

After you do that, open Driver Manager and select the 535 driver which should be available for what appears to be your 4060 Ti GPU. You can install the driver. However, if you have secure boot enabled, you will need to either disable it in your BIOS/UEFI or create keys (MOK) so it it trusted to load when you reboot the computer so the Nvidia driver can load and be used. (Loading the driver is a separate step from installing it.)

The instructions I gave you were:

So the kernel upgrade to 6.5 was the second step.

It really helps this process if you answer the questions I ask instead of making me guess what you are doing. I am not there to see your screen. I have already asked you twice if you are getting the blinking cursor before or after entering your password. You have not answered that question.

Do you normally see the grub menu when you boot? If not, plug your monitor into the onboard GPU and reboot the computer. I would think you should be able to get in and then run the updates in Update Manager and then install the Nvidia driver. Then AFTER you do that, you can plug the monitor into the Nvidia GPU.
