Bluetooth fails to enable

Post by NightSky »

Hey,

I want to start off by saying that I'm new to Linux. All help is very much appreciated.

My OS is recently installed Mint 21.3 Cinnamon, and in first use my bluetooth headphones worked flawlessly. I switched the bluetooth off from the panel after use, figured that it's easy to just turn back on when I need it.

Fast forward to couple of days later when I tried to enable the bluetooth back on: When I press the Bluetooth symbol from the panel, it opens the Bluetooth Devices window, but "Enable Bluetooth" just closes the whole thing and nothing happens. I'm unable to click anything else except that and "Exit". They both just close it. I managed to get this from the Terminal by using rfkill list:

Code: Select all

0: tpacpi_bluetooth_sw: Bluetooth
	Soft blocked: no
	Hard blocked: yes
1: hci0: Bluetooth
	Soft blocked: no
	Hard blocked: no
2: phy0: Wireless LAN
	Soft blocked: yes
	Hard blocked: no
It's not locked on the BIOS, and my Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11e 6th Gen doesn't have a physical button either. I have no idea how or why this has happened.

Here's my "System information" from the System Reports window:
