That is a common occurrence when there are no graphics drivers loaded.

Graphics:
Device-1: AMD driver: N/A pcie: speed: 16 GT/s lanes: 16 bus-ID: c1:00.0
chip-ID: 1002:15bf class-ID: 0300
Display: x11 server: X.Org v: 1.21.1.4 driver: X: loaded: ati,vesa
unloaded: fbdev,modesetting,radeon gpu: N/A display-ID: :0 screens: 1
Screen-1: 0 s-res: 2256x1504 s-dpi: 96 s-size: 597x398mm (23.5x15.7")
s-diag: 718mm (28.2")
Monitor-1: default res: 2256x1504 hz: 95 size: N/A
OpenGL: renderer: llvmpipe (LLVM 15.0.7 256 bits)
v: 4.5 Mesa 23.2.1-1ubuntu3.1~22.04.2 direct render: Yes

Your system has very new hardare and needs to be using a much newer kernel to get the necessary graphics drivers. Please upgrade to the 6.5 kernel in Update Manager.
  • Open Update Manager.
  • Select View > Linux Kernels and click Continue.
  • Make sure 6.5 is selected on the left panel and then click the top-most option on the right panel. An "Install" button will appear.
  • Install the kernel and then reboot for it to become active.
You don't need to re-install, but you would have that kernel had you used the Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon (Edge) Edition ISO.

If that does not help the issue, then also try upgrading the amdgpu linux-firmware. Instructions are here.

Good to hear. Please go to your first post in this topic, click the pencil icon, and add [SOLVED] to the beginning of the title and submit the revised post so others know you are no longer seeking help on this issue. (animated gif courtesy of user BJZilberman)
