Beginning a new setup
Hello
I am beginning a new setup. The main device will be a 1TB device with dual boot. My second device is to be for storage, which I was hoping to format for allowing access for both OS's.
Mint and Win.
I was choosing NTFS for the storage device.
I would be accessing the storage device mostly from Mint.
Would I experience ownership issues in this setup?
Thankyou.

If both drives are turned on when you start the computer, LM will work with NTFS without problems, but you must first turn off "Fast Boot" on Windows and "Secure Boot" in BIOS. The same applies to the Windows Hibernation.frostymusic wrote: ⤴Wed Mar 27, 2024 7:06 am I would be accessing the storage device mostly from Mint.

Install Windows first, turn off the three settings, and then install LM.
