Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2024
UserLAnd is garbage. I have applied for a refund and uninstalled it. It cannot launch any browser on any distro it installs and it cannot install any other browser that might work.

Another non-expert spitball: what about PostmarketOS? Alpine Linux-based OS for mobile devices like phones and tablets.
Although the list of supported tablets seems very short. But they say if you're "adventurous", you can try porting to an unsupported device.

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2024
I am nothing if not adventurous. Unfortunately I also have a bank account and a web browser so I have a win10 tablet on the way from eBay (see above post) I should finally get a physical device that can handle the GUI in a few days.klu9 wrote: ⤴Fri Sep 06, 2024 12:34 pmSorry to hear that.Logansfury wrote: ⤴Wed Sep 04, 2024 2:44 pm UserLAnd is garbage. The above post disappeared! Its a Cheuwi HI10 X 10" tablet with dockable/detachable keyboard and stylus pen, running win10. I intend to get eDEX installed to it as soon as it arrives from eBay

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2024
Found some eyecandy for my machine. Monitor 2 is running
In this screenshot an enlarged version of Nair diagonal clock with custom hands replaces my usual Mizar clock edit on monitor 1
Monitor 3 are two conky clocks, an emulator for the Mint system clock when positioned in top center panel, and the qclock2 or word-clock based on the real Sharper Image word clock.
"Open image in new tab" option gives a real sized image for those that want to see details.

Here is a different array including neofetch.
I had ChatGPT3.5 compose a pair of bashscripts for me to auto luanch and position these windows:
eyecandy.sh

Right-clicks on UniMatrix and selects 'Search DuckDuckGo for "UniMatrix"'.
Looks at top results. Tries to decide if Logansfury is running an app that mimics the screens from The Matrix, or has finally joined the Borg Collective. Looks at screenshot. Still not sure.

Hey Jeannie I got that 2nd i7 CPU sticker that I ordered successfully! It arrived in the snail mail yesterday at least 4 days earlier than expected:
Whatcha think? I'm feeling smug about upgrading from that shameful i5

There's nothing wrong with i5s but hey, if you have an i7, you might as well flaunt it!Logansfury wrote: ⤴Sun Sep 08, 2024 5:05 pmLife is chaotic. Ya never know.Lady Fitzgerald wrote: ⤴Sun Sep 08, 2024 5:00 pmYet?Logansfury wrote: ⤴Sun Sep 08, 2024 4:51 pm
