Fastly repositories are working well for me on both LM21.3 (Cinnamon) and LMDE 6. I have not encountered any error messages.

I am testing this currently after the last announcement post on Reddit and so far its working well after a day. Out of curiosity, what kind of vetting process did the Mint team go through with Fastly to ensure that Linux Mint Repos would remain secure and untampered?

Hard to tamper with. The repo contains Release files, which are summaries of the package lists with hash checksums. The Release files are signed by the Mint team.

Right now there seems to be a problem. Otherwise I have been using it since day 1 and it is nice and fast.

From the first launch of the fastly repositories, they proved to be fast and reliable. I haven't seen any problems yet. Firefox was updated today, the update speed was 7 747 kbps. Russia.

I've had bad experience with Fastly, even with other things, like with GOG using Fastly, it's slow for me and I have a fast connection a 1Gbps down 40Mbps up and my speedtest is always 1.2Gbps down 45Mbps up, but this morning the Fastly download speeds with GOG is 6 MBps, too slow for my impatient self, I know it's doing a correct speed when it's downloading at 130MBps. This is pretty regular with Fastly, I'm not a fan.

Fastly is running on 2 desktops and 1 laptop. Downloads are very fast.

"When will it ever end?" <grin>

It was said to be tested "for a couple of months, perhaps three".
That was April.
It's now August!

No offense intended.
I am interested and will move to it as soon as it's implemented because I trust the Mint team.

Likewise I was wondering if the testing was going to end soon and be implemented?

I asked Clem for an update and he indicated the original problem which led to looking at Fastly in the first place is no longer there because they were able to upgrade the existing servers. He said there have been some unexplained issues with Fastly (I see some were reported on GitHub).

I would guess the idea is to keep options open so Fastly will likely remain as it is right now. If it working for you then continue using it.
