Mint21.3 cinnamon on a vivobook.Brother 3 in 1 DCP -J1200W Stopped working and I got in a bit of a mess with it and so reinstalled Mint.Set up Direct print network which works then let Mint also discover the printer automatically ( driverless) and the scanner also works but I don't have any of the Brother utilities.If I use the Brother Install tool ( used it last time) am I right in thinking that I'll get utilities but the drivers will be ignored .I don't want the set up disturbing since it works at the moment.
