I have the same image, Andromeda right(?), as the background on my work computer. I got it from the NASA photo of the day site you shared a few weeks back. Of course I have been cycling through a number of backgrounds I downloaded from there.

Recently returned to Mint via the new release. Here is my simple Openbox flavored desktop.

Tint2, Mocp & and split console via Terminator and of course two Conkys.

Like three or 5 of you guys have massive 20-something inch screens or like TV's or something. I've got a modest 12** -by- 10** screen that's not wide-screen or anything. I'm so jealous, I need a job...

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, I've got like a 15 or 17 incher and my screen doesn't seem nearly as large.

The best picture I had quality wise was on a 19" Hitachi CRT Monitor. Best Color reproduction I have had on any Monitor. It was 4:3 aspect ratio but man it had a nice picture.

I "almost" splurged on a 23" today for my test box, but I rethought it and determined that I'd be better off saving for a new laptop. I'll continue to deal with the 14" VGA that has a 1996 manufacture date on it, and hit the Goodwill once or twice a week for something better.

I'm saving for a 100 dollar laptop. I keep spurging though. Last night I spent like $30 on pizza for myself. I wish I had some left right now b/c I'm hungry right now. ><
