How to play .dvr format?

How to play .dvr format?

Hi,everyone.
Is there a way someone can play a .dvr file (a recording of a TV show made through an MPEG4 decoder/digital TV recording) in Linux?
I tried it on VLC but it seems it's an unsupported format.
Any idea would be welcome.

Install dvr from synaptic.
Should work now (try every media player).

If not:
Install project-x and reencode your .dvr file.

That's the URL that lists the features of DVR.
Are you sure it plays the files,or does it only record them? I want to play the files,nothing else.
