I have a slew of downloads and random stuff I have collected throughout the years. Could someone point me in the right direction to get the data that isn't covered in pepsi stains into my computer?
I really don't care if I get all the files, I was just wanting to preserve the directory structure. The CDs are mostly good, but like most, got scratched on the outer rim, or have flakes of chemical chipping off on the top side.
Please respoind with:
1) an rsync or similear command that would ignore errors
2) a sector recovery solution for bad bloacks on CD-Roms.... DVDs?

Good find, I'll keep a copy of this app in my Bag-O-Trix.
But this isn't what I wanted...
Recursive - I need the entire CD-Directory structure.
JFileRecovery is nice to recover corrupt files, but I only want the files that are complete.
I'm sure there could be a bash script or such that will do this fairly simply. I'm new, and unfamiliar with such admin tools. I think i might need something with intelligent autoskip
