To be honest, its not overly difficult to put a scratch-system together, but admittedly it
is a royal pain. You'll be able to download this soon enough don't you worry :D (got plans, ya see :P)
Should work with Windows 7, I'll do a look around and find out, and get back to you when I do so.
Now you have me curious too Ikey.

Two posts in this thread, in the same month ... unusual for me. But, it is Halloween.

thanks. What I really like was how upon login theres a feeling the desktop comes to life (the GDM/GDM3 uses the default grey wallpaper).

Was actually trying to recolor the LM10 logo only into a mint green while keeping the "101010" and background as metallic grey. Was using gimp but having had time tracing the logo.

The icons are humanities, then I edited the colors with magicon to match the theme.

The theme is elementary, with one change to the highlight colors to match my wallpaper.

The wallpaper was originally from the bisigi project. It's called eco. I "edited" the wallpaper to be more minty heh.

Thread I made on the wallpaper here:
http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=57116

you can download the wallpaper there. :)

Thanks for the comment shane! Everyone here does a great job with their desktops. This thread has inspired me to do these things...hah.

In order to reduce ram usage, i got rid of docky and just used awn, but all the launchers for some reason eat more memory than on docky, although docky does leak. Also changed window title bars to another custom theme, and replaced ubuntu icon in menu for awoken mint icon. once got ram down to 38%, but it went up again. strange, even after logout and login.

wallpaper - into the blue
icon theme - mostly faenza-mint
dock - awn, on intellihide
wm - compiz
