-Hello All,
Just some quick background about me,
I have been using a mix of Linux distro's since early 2008. Love Gnome, Deb-based distros and all things linux.
the main ones were Mandriva, Fedora, openSuse, Sabayon, Mint, Ubuntu, Debian, Cruchbang, and some others.
In a nutshell, I've decided to finally use Linux Mint as my default OS. (I run multiple distros, and use each depending how I feel in general --usually Ubuntu)
However, the thought of having to run Unity desktop does not at all delight me, though I do praise Canonical for their efforts to develop their distro,
its just not for me. And yes, I have tried it, and tried to like it.
Anyway, just wanted to say that Mint 10, is by far, the most beautiful gnome distro to date, it looks awesome and I'm glad
to hear that Mint 11 will arrive with "classic" Gnome 2.x as default. (I'm biased towards that desktop, sorry if I offend anybody)
BTW, Ubuntu has this beta Ubuntu-Control-Center based of Mandriva's Control-Center, very nice, i must say,
Maybe sometime in the future Mint should develop some kind of control-center like this, with all the mint tools integrated into it, a little like Yast, but for Mint,
Just a thought,
Keep up the good work. Linux Mint is now my #1 choice, Keep up the good work, its an awesome distro.
Just wanted to say hello
