Red and black has to be one of the trickiest combinations,it can end up looking horribly tacky, you managed to make it stylish 8)

Thank you oscar799. I have to admit that I went through a couple of drafts before I came to the one I posted. So you are right it could have gone bad really quick. :D

Your Welcome hemimaniac, I do not have a tutorial that I follow, I will usually see a wallpaper I like and start working on choosing the theme components that will work best with that wall. I find this makes it easier to put the pieces together. I keep saved short cuts for my favorite theme pieces that I could use later, ie Icon, GTK, x11 Mouse themes and so on. I would suggest Browsing Gnome-look.org and Deviantart.com. These are were you can find all the parts to a theme you will need. When it comes to choosing a GTK theme its allways best to try it, see how it looks system wide. They will range from easy to install to not so easy ie run a script to customize the install just the way you want, the later will usually look better but takes more work. If you know how to add PPA's there are some good GTK and icon sets for this method and the PPA will help keep them updated so if the creator adds new feature to the theme or fixes bugs you will have it. 2 examples of this would be Equinox GTK and Faenza Icon theme. Those two happen to be on the same PPA.
This is just some things that may help, let me know if you have any questions and I will try to answer them accordingly. :D

nice desktop paulo.delavega.

it'll take some time until I post my next screen... waiting for Mint KDE 10, and Fedora 14 doesn't supports ndsiwrapper so i'll have to wait for a fix or for LM KDE 10...

greetings,

Leit
