Hi all,
I've just come over to LMDE from Ubuntu 10.4 and I'm loving the change.
Well, mostly.. I can't figure out how to install any language packs.
I'm studying Chinese and on Ubuntu I was able to install the Chinese language packs and then use iBus to switch between input methods when typing.
How can I do this with LMDE?
Also, when browsing the web, Chinese characters don't display. They just come up as garbage. I'm assuming this would be remedied when I can install the language pack though.
Is anyone able to offer any insight?
Thanks in advance!
Muzz

I managed to find a most excellent guide here:

For anyone having the same problem, this method is quite a bit more involved than Ubuntu's but it works!
