Dankeshoen for the translation Germanix
I was hoping that this postcard would be very valuable to the descendants
of the gentlemen in the picture.
I hope that someone recognises his ancestors in it.
I found the card in an uncle's collection of souvenirs; he passed away quite some time ago. He was a World War One veteran who was sent to the European front in 1917 and was a casualty of poison gas. But he died in the US at the age of 95.
I have another postcard that I will post here, hoping to help the descendants of those men that fought in the futile WW I war.
I may rescan the postcard at a higher resolution and try to make it as readable as possible.
I hope that some people will be interested.
Thanks again Germanix.
Good work!

PS. In this clearer scan, the stamp on the postcard reads: Fereinslazaret Traunstein----Neues Krankenhaus
Note: Lazarets were isolation or quarantine places.
