[SOLVED]Reinstalling grub
Hi mint users. I need to install Windows xp in my netbook along with my lmde. I need a quick advice on how to reinstall grub after that without mess up my lmde partition. Thank you

none of this methods works.i got an error when i try to install grub.(/usr/sbin/grub-probe ; error ; cannot stat /dev/sda5).anyway i boot in my system using Super grub disk i also try to repair it but nothing.Is there a way to install grub from my booted lmde system.please helpsumski wrote:http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/245

Try this ... know it works w grub legacy. Have done similar recently myself to reinstall to mbr and a particular partition. Poss works with grub2 as well. Either way will only take a couple mins to find out.

You might need to purge grub and reinstall.
