The Fluxbox Window Manager : is the easiest to use and configure the desktop, I have ever found.

To configure/change/edit the Menu is very easy.

Excellent Fluxbox Menu Wiki here > http://fluxbox-wiki.org/index.php?title ... g_the_menu

Specific to Mint Fluxbox 9, isn't all of the menu files inside the hidden ~/.mint-fm2 folder in your home directory ?

(can't see the image in your first post, the server times out ?)

The base level menu is at the normal ~/.fluxbox/menu location while all of the submenus are in ~/.mint-fm2/.
