I'm pointed to Mint incoming, for me and my hardware it seems more stable than Mint 11. Other than the gdk transition problems, the biggest issues I'm having is with USB storage on my netbook. USB HDD's the kernel panics if I try to eject them from the windows manager, if I just hotplug I don't have this problem so I make sure the system isn't using the data (just used for data storage anyway)and just yank the cord.

No problem.
My Memorex USB DVD burner the eject button doesn't work I have to use the windows manager to eject the DVD's. Now I know this bug should stop the presses.
All in all it's just stable enough for me to do what I need to do, when I need to do it. And also gives me almost enough to keep the tinker in me from getting in too much trouble.
