POLL: Are you tracking new Mint Repo or "Debian Testing" or?

It might be of value for the developers to know what LMDE users are tracking.

I am tracking "Debian Testing". I was tracking "Linux Mint Incoming" (testing), but was feeling that it was taking too long (I can be impatient)
for upgrade packs to come through, and that the number of updates in the pack was so large that it would be hard to pinpoint problems.

I also have a separate partition tracking "SID".

What are you all tracking?

Ah, well after re-spin of the ISO I will run both Mint Latest and Mint Incoming. Either dual-boot or VirtualBox, not decided yet. Anyway, I'm missing the option to select multiple answers

I'm currently tracking Sid and Experimental, but I keep Testing enabled as well, since it doesn't hurt anything to leave it enabled.

I mainly use the Debian testing repos. Sometimes i sharpen the sid repos, if i want more up to date packages.

I think also, if the number of updates in a pack is too large, it is hard to pinpoint problems. Another reason is my damn
slow connection. Downloading large updates needs too much time.

I'm pointed to Mint incoming, for me and my hardware it seems more stable than Mint 11. Other than the gdk transition problems, the biggest issues I'm having is with USB storage on my netbook. USB HDD's the kernel panics if I try to eject them from the windows manager, if I just hotplug I don't have this problem so I make sure the system isn't using the data (just used for data storage anyway)and just yank the cord. No problem.

My Memorex USB DVD burner the eject button doesn't work I have to use the windows manager to eject the DVD's. Now I know this bug should stop the presses.

All in all it's just stable enough for me to do what I need to do, when I need to do it. And also gives me almost enough to keep the tinker in me from getting in too much trouble.

While I have the latest update manager, like some of the other posters I don't want to wait and have 200 updates at once. I would rather do my updates the Debian way.

Not to take away from the polling feedback but i use to be on LMDE but went back to Mint 11 main edition because of breakages and updating problems....since i am not that "technically adept"....I was just wondering if those that are using the new Mint Repo, and particularly the "Latest" side of it are finding that there is a big improvement in the stability and reliability of LMDE as a result of using it, as compared to doing the daily "debian testing" updates?
Feedback on that aspect will be welcome along with your polling comments (if gene doesn't mind)...

I do mix testing, unstable and experimental using apt-pinning.
While packages are generally installed from testing, I like certain programs in userspace to be more up to date.

This is my configuration in /etc/apt/preferences:
