Good text editor with bbcode/html preview/conversion

I am looking for a good text editor with bbcode/html preview and conversion between those two... I heard about highlight but there is no updated gui or gtk to highlight. Any help would be welcome! Thank you!

How about installing the blue griffon?

The name of the file is: BlueGriffon-1.1.1-Linux-x86_64-Install but there is no extension. I saw some of this ones already but I can't install them...

Ok after answer that question. I have yet another... I want something where I could write a text and format it, link it and then turn it to bbcode or html because it is to be published...None of those seem to interest me... I know the basics of html and bbcode, now I need to convert the text because, well if I am going to substitute the code whenever I post it, I am doomed... Between forums and sites...

Try setting the execute bit of BlueGriffon-1.1.1-Linux-x86_64-Install and install it.

file extension ins Linux/Unix don't mean anything as far as whether they are executable.
You'll need to set the execute bit, then execute the file to install it.
