It doesn't matter if a glass is half empty or half full.
There is clearly room for more wine.

Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread
Decided to try Ubuntu 11.10 to see what I could do with Gnome 3. Here's a shot of Gnome Classic Desktop with Cairo Dock. Seems to be working well and looking pretty good:
Maybe Gnome 3 won't be a total disaster.

My Linux Mint 11/Ubuntu 11.10 hybrid running GNOME 3.2 Shell, Zukitwo-Shell theme (modified to use Droid Sans font, size 10, and reverting the application view icons to the larger size), Zukitwo-Brave GTK theme and Zukitwo-Colors Metacity/Mutter theme (modified from Zukitwo-Dark to resemble the Shiki-Colors theme, available along with the rest of the colors here), gnome-brave icons, Terraform Blue wallpaper (part of the gnome backgrounds package, I believe...).

Nice tdockery97...very "mac like"
How are you running yahoo messenger on there? i see the icon on your "docky"...through wine?
Looks encouraging...i'd think Clem should be able to do some wonders on gnome 3 with customized shell...

Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread
Finally got around to posting my desktop. The image for my background is a painting named "Fortitude" created by Ceridwen Haf Morys. The launch bars are via the native gnome panel and AWN.
