I decided to try my hand at making some wallpaper.

You should artistically integrate the Mint Logo and motto into those and submit them for consideration to be included in the Mint 12 default wallpapers.

The first one has a few rough edges around the Mint symbol, but it's very cool how you got the starburst integration to look so natural. I think you did an excellent job, especially if you are new to doing it!! Kudos!

Ditto, really like the starburst / mint logo right over it... on it's own the center of the burst is too bright IMHO, but the logo over is awesome.
You should be able to alter your selection by shrinking it a pixel or two and maybe turning on anti-alias in the selection... I'm guessing you're using a magic wand to crop the LM logo, and that will clean up that edge look.

Thanks everyone! I almost forgot about fixing this wallpaper! I'll try to get around to that soon.
