Well Vmware server is in the repos, but not player
I found this description for Gutsy which probably will work equally well in Daryna

It's obvious that the author does not command the english language to well, but it's no problem to understand. I have not tested though as I already have Virtualbox which you find in the software portal

Or use Vmware Player and the guide here: VMWare Player Image Creation . Works great on both win and unix.

Another good alternative is InnoTek VirtualBox, which is the package "virtualbox" I believe.

How does VMware work with Linux Mint? Will I be able to run iTunes (and connect to an iPod & Internet)? Will it run MS apps like MS Money and Streets & Trips? Does it access the USB port when needed? Thanks.
