Rosewill RNX-MiniN1 & Mint 12

Post by Miami592 »

Sorry to sound ignorant but I am.

Want to make a new linux box using this wireless adapter.

http://www.rosewill.com/products/s_1777 ... Detail.htm

Can get a great price ($9.99) with free shipping.

It says works with Kernel 2.6.x. Not sure what Mint 12 uses.

Does it matter?

Any and all help appreciated.

Update-

Does not seem to work with either version of Lisa.

Does work on 32 bit versions of Katya and Isadora though. Uses net8192se.inf driver on NDISwrapper.

Anyone know who to contact about developing kernel 3.0 support for this thing?

If it's a Realtek 8192SE based stick (which the 8192se name suggests) you can get a driver from Realtek's website.
