Top 47 Linux Games

Post by vrkalak » Fri Dec 23, 2011 2:05 pm

Someone compiled a List of the Top 47 Games for Linux . . . appears to be some of the most popular Computer Games listed here.

SuperTuxCart
CodeRED: Alien Arena
OAD
Minecraft
Penumbra : Black Plague
Heroes Of Newerth
Dungeons of Dredmor
Steel Storm : Burning Retribution
Counter Strike
Amnesia : The Dark Descent
Machinarium
Doom 3
Quake 4
Quake Live
Revenge Of The Titans
Shadowgrounds Survivor
Braid
The Clockwork Man : Hidden World
Prey
Conquest : Divide and Conquer
... and many more

Personally, the Game Developers are not going to work on new games for Linux, as long as everyone goes to MS Windows for their gaming experiences. If you demand that they port games to Linux and OpenSource, then and only then, will they make the best Games available for Linux.

The Games Developers and Game Companies go where the demand and the money is . . . make them come to us.
