How to turn laptop into wifi hotspot
Installed the Linux Mint KDE 12 on a Lenovo G570. I use a 3G USB modem to connect to the internet. I have a tablet which can connect to the internet using Wifi. Windows 7 enables me to turn the laptop into a Virtual Router and use it as a wifi hotspot. How can I do this using KDE?

That article seems to be about Ubuntu/Mint with Gnome 3 (for example, there's no such option in Gnome 2.3x/MATE control panel), so I guess you'll have to search for KDE-specific article separately.

Hei Monsta, I am running KDE and I can see all the options referred to in the article.Monsta wrote:That article seems to be about Ubuntu/Mint with Gnome 3 (for example, there's no such option in Gnome 2.3x/MATE control panel), so I guess you'll have to search for KDE-specific article separately.
