404 missing deb files in repository

can some one please help me with these missing packages in repository. I am using synaptec on mint 12.

Try refreshing the package list. I checked, at least one of those packages don't exist on the server.

I've had this same issue when installing any packages for web development purposes.

I found that changing the software sources type for "http://security.ubuntu......." from binary to source, worked and packages would install.

Specifically go to Synaptic Package manager>Settings>Repositories>Other Software(tab)>Important Security Updates.

Select that field then select edit. Proceed to change source from binary to "source". Select Ok.

You should be able to go back and install the packages you weren't able to install before.

Thanks! I had the same issue installing php5 on Mint13. I managed to install apache2 without doing this, but php5 needed this AND archives.ubuntu.com setting to "source" (other software>recommended)
