[SOLVED] Networkmanager Ethernet multiple profiles?

Postby kaefert » Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:02 am

The Networkmanager under LMDE + Cinnamon does not allow me to create multiple profiles for the ethernet interface. In previous versions this always worked, just as it works with wifi-interfaces.. Is there some way to get this behaviour back?

Run the command:

Code: Select all

gksudo nm-connection-editor

Then you should be able to do what you want.

You should know kaefert that it's the same tool called with root rights.
My Linux history: Ubuntu 10.04 - 10.10 - LMDE 201109 - UP4 My sources.list/preferences

Computers is not science. And it's not magic - it's something in between.

I know that, but I didn't know that that tool was called that way, I always only used it by starting it from the gnome-panel
