Burned .iso to DVD/RW with two different downloads.
OS works fine on test drives but clicking on "install" leaves you in limbo.
Nothing ever happens (even after triple and quadruple clicking).
Lets do da limbo! ya!

Re: Maya Cinnamon refuses to install
Sounds like a bad burn. Did you check the md5 sum?
Re: Maya Cinnamon refuses to install
the same here....tried everything.... usb and dvd... 32 and 64 ... downloaded from here and softpedia .... torrent and ftp server .... checked md5 which was ok... any idea?
Re: Maya Cinnamon refuses to install
Re-reading through .pdf help file, the only option i can think of for now, is to burn the .iso to a DVD/R not a RW.
All i have are DVD/RW and CD/RW.
Can't have everything now, can we!

Re: Maya Cinnamon refuses to install
Burned a new downloaded .iso file to a DVD/R this time.
Same problem. Just spins around when asked to install.
If i click on the .exe file i do get an error message (about a paragraph long).
It says in the end that i should do a chkdsk /r but that never does anything for it either.
The MD5 file is on the DVD (just like for others).
I've never had a problem installing LinuxMint before.
Used same program to burn to DVD.

Re: Maya Cinnamon refuses to install
Just to confirm that after multiple start-ups and accessing within LinuxMint itself that clicking on the "install" button just comes out with a spinning wheel.
The DVD spins a couple of times and after a few clicks to try again, it just shows a little spinning ball but the DVD isn't doin' anythin'
Must be like the Maya year, the end has arrived.

Re: Maya Cinnamon refuses to install
I have the same problem trying to install Mint 13 Mate or Mint Debian. The odd thing is I never had these problems when installing either of these distros on my 4 year old HP laptop running Win7 Home Premium. But I cannot get them to install on my new system whose main OS is Win7 Professional. My current system consists of:
SYX Venture SB75A Series Custom Desktop PC
Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit,
3rd Generation Intel Core Processors (i5-3570K, CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz),
Intel® B75 Chipset,
NVIDIA GeForce GT 620,
22X SATA DVDRW Drive (TSST corp CDDVDW SH-222BB),
2 USB 3.0 ports,
4 USB 2.0 ports,
16 GB RAM,
Crucial m4 Series 128GB 2.5" SATA 6G SSD C: Drive,
750GB 7200RPM 3.5" SATA Hard Drive D:,
HDMI,
U.S. Based Assembly & Support
This is very frustrating. Still no solution? I'd hate to have to go to a non-mint distro.
