Just made a couple of audio CD's from a collection of audio files in mp3 format. Using K3B and Mint 12 KDE
I have all the codecs in place [according to K3B plugins] but the audio CD failed to play [titles and track numbers appear but no sound].
I tested opening two of the mp3 files in audacity and without changing anything just saved the files over top of the originals as mp3 and burned a second Audio CD.
.
Now the only two songs that play on the new Audio CD are the two I saved in Audacity.
The original mp3 files all play directly as mp3's using any music software i select.
Just wonder if anyone knows what might be wrong with the original MP3 files?

Re: Audio CD Oddity
Follow up - Found replacement mp3's and they worked fine when I created an audio CD.
Never had that happen before.
