I'm using the current Linux Mint release (64 bit) with Cinnamon.
With the default drivers, there are no problems using the configuration utility to get an extended desktop (1280x1024 + 1920x1200 = 3200x1200).
Then I installed the proprietary AMD drivers. Now the display setup tool tells my, the maximum desktop resolution is 1920x1920.
I tried to use the CCC for this change. It required a reboot. This is the result, when I do a shutdown. Every ~40 seconds one bunch of text.
After a hard reset and a reboot, no changes are applied. What's wrong? (It's reproducible!)
