Hello,
can anyone tell me if there is the possibility of open the mintMenu programmatically? I read a little bit through the source but found neither a command-line option nor a DBUS published method for this - or i simply looked over it
What i want to archieve is the ability to open up the menu using a Keyboard shortcut.
I am using Mint 13 MATE.
Thanks,
egrath

Re: Open mintMenu programmatically
Hi, egrath - welcome to the Mint forums
I'm not sure I've understood your question
- but the default keyboard shortcut to open mintMenu in LM13 Mate is <Control>Super_L
If you want to change that:
Right-click Menu > click Preferences > Main Button

Hello caribriz,
thank you for your reply and your solution. The Keyboard Shortcut <Control>Super_L is exactly what i was looking for. Because i did not knew that this shortcut exists, i wanted to do it the programmatical way
