Have just installed mint 13 cinamon on a laptop after not having one for awhile have installed awn so i got a dock at bottom of screen and im sure last time i disabled something to stop any open apps appearing down there as I have the standard panel thingy for that and since not having a computer for 6 months or so I really cant remember how it was done was hoping it was in one of my old posts but alas cant find an answer
found the answer in awns wiki
How do I turn Awn into a launcher-only dock?
Open Awn Settings and check "Display launchers only" on the Taskmanager tab.
