Can I change the log-in screen on Fluxbox 9 ?

Postby DaTorbiera » Fri Aug 17, 2012 5:24 am

Hello all,

I have been looking around for the answer to this question but I haven't been able to find it. Hopefully someone can provide it here.

I would like to change the log-in screen of a Fluxbox 9 installation. With that I mean: just the picture.

It can easily be done on a CrunchBanb installation (OpenBox) so I'm hoping it can be done on Mind FluxBox as well.

This is a pretty bad answer, but - isn't the login screen part of the display manager, and controls which window manager you're going to start (e.g. fluxbox or openbox)? In which case you should be able to change it in the same way as for OpenBox (tho openbox install might be using a different DM).
