How does one prevent the Installer (in both Bea and Bianca) from overwriting existing partitions when assigning mount points? I have PCLOS installed in partition 2 but the installer will not let me continue without writing files to that partition - I cannot leave it blank. (Disk is 120 GB PATA.)
Example:
Proposed mount points for Mint in green.
/dev/hda1, 15GB, /
/dev/hda2, 15GB, (PCLOS / existing)
/dev/hda3, 15GB, (unassigned)
/dev/hda4, 68GB Extended
/dev/hda6, 2GB, swap
/dev/hda5, 66GB, /home
ERROR: No mount points selected for partition2 disc ide/ata 1
The PCLOS installer did not have this problem (Bea was mounted in Partition 1). I noticed that there were no locks indicating mounted partitions, but when looking at it in PCLOS, is said "mounted".
All partitions formatted ext3. Am I doing something wrong?
