Mint 13 KDE edition and partitioning

Postby rinring » Sun Sep 02, 2012 2:59 am

I'm happy with this distro, but:

- By default if manual partitioning is selected, grub will be installed in /dev/sda2 (the pendrive) instead of /dev/sda1 (hard drive). This will make the installation to fail in the last step, after all translations and stuff have been downloaded.

- I would recommend to use gparted as the tool to manage partitions as it has more features (resize partitions, set labels..)

- In other PC, manual partittioning crashes. Tried several times.

Hope this can be useful to make an even better Mint.
