I have had Mint now for about a month. I installed it on my P3 system and it worked great even with skype/
A couple days ago I finally bought the last pieces for a new system.
It has an AD1986A Sound Max onboard audio. And like most people here and in ubuntu forums it works great except that my mike dosnt have sound out. I have been searching everywhere for 2 days without finding a fix.
So because Skype is my only telephone I need to get a PCI sound card for my new machine.
Nothing fancy or expensive just something that I know will work with Mint 4.0 and Skype.
Anyone with any ideas I would be very thankfull.
Thanks
