Audio Spectrum Analyzer - Help!

Post by DiminishedAC »

Hey all! I had an audio spectrum analyzer gadget on Windows 7 a while back and had it sit maximized on my desktop while I listened to music. I really enjoyed it and it helped me figure out when my own songs started to become "too much" in terms of how many different levels of sound there was. Anyways, I was wondering if there was any sort of real-time audio spectrum analyzer as a widget? I've searched around Google and found something called KAnalyzer, but it's nowhere to be found. I also installed Spek, but that's a program (trying to get a widget). If there aren't any widgets, is there some sort of script for Amarok that adds one in? Or at the very least a program? I want to be able to play my music through Amarok and still be able to use the analyzer. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
