Hellur

Postby midgar » Thu Nov 08, 2012 3:38 pm

Hi everyone,

I've used Mint periodically for quite a while now. I believe this is the distro I am going to be sticking with long-term. I've had quite a bit of experience using Arch, Debian (variants), and Ubuntu. This community has always seemed to be pretty nice as well, which is what I really like about Mint.

I'm a technical support analyst, retro/indie gamer, and also a musician. My favorite linux package is Conky, by far. I enjoy hours and hours making random conky scripts. Though I still feel like a noob at it, seeing some insane scripts people have made. =P

Thanks.

welcome to the Mint family forums

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armour to lead all customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the fact that it was he who, by peddling second-rate technology, led them into it in the first place.
